It is already a tradition that in December our first-year foreign (regular and Erasmus+) students are acquainted with Christmas customs in Poland. This year, the Seasonal Meeting took place on 7th December.

This year the presence of our foreign students was much higher than compared to previous years. Approximately about 100 international students from Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Chad, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan took part in the event.
The aim of the meeting was to familiarize our foreign students with Polish customs and traditions during Christmas time which was done in a few of the most attractive ways – there was a presentation held by the Head of the Department of Staff Development and International Cooperation, Ms Anna Kasztelewicz. Also, the Christmas atmosphere was strengthened by the high school students’ choir, which wonderfully performed well-known Polish carols.
Moreover, the students had a chance to be enchanted by the band established by our Erasmus+ students from Chad, Latvia, and also student from Poland, those gifted musicians featured two of the most beautiful polish carols.
After the students proved they were good, Santa Claus appeared and surprised everyone with a gift.
