International Women's and Men's Day

On March 8,  the International Women’s Day is celebrated. It is a day when all eyes focus on the diverse achievements of women, the determination, and the leadership of ladies all around the world. This is also a symbolic day, showing respect for the victims of fights for equal rights for women. Also, on March 10, we celebrate Men’s day in Poland to show their significant contribution to many areas and communities.

That is why the Kielce University of Technology combined those two days in one and on March 8,2023 organized an event as a celebration and charity time for all students and staff. Our students took part in a sports competition organized by the Sports Centre. They had a chance to play some team sports such as football, volleyball, and basketball, but also to test their individual skills and verify their endurance during 500m row, afterward the best players and rowers received some gifts.

For those who are not into physical activity, there was an opportunity to have their hair cut by a professional hairdresser and donate them to the charity fighting cancer.
