International Students Welcome Day

International Students Welcome Day

Traditionally, at the beginning of the new academic year, the Kielce University of Technology welcomes foreign students on INTERNATIONAL STUDENT WELCOME DAY. Currently, over two hundred students from abroad study at our University. It constitutes 4,5% of all KUT students. Over 70 international students study on the regular basis at the courses offered in English: Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. What’s more, the University is hosting 30 Erasmus+ exchange students who decided to spend the winter semester. The remaining international have decided to study in Polish.

To make the start for the newcomers easier, the Department of Staff Development and International Cooperation organized a meeting on October 6, 2022, during which young people from over 30 countries were welcomed and got familiarized with the most important information about the rules of studying, living in dormitories and generally staying in Poland.

Our freshmen especially appreciated the film presentation in which foreign students already studying here shared their study experiences. The positive opinion from the students themselves, widely expressed, the activities in the field of foreign promotion and recruitment undertaken by the employees of the Department of Staff Development and International Cooperation results in the increasing number of foreign students studying at our University year by year. There are many cases when international exchange students decide to stay at our University for the full course of their studies. Young people from Ukraine, Algeria, Morocco, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Pakistan and many other countries share information with their friends about how well they have been accepted at the Kielce University of Technology. It strongly encourages others to choose the Kielce University of Technology as their destination.

We wish our international students all the best, every success in their academic life and we hope the start of their studies at the Kielce University of Technology has opened a bright future for them.
