Names of the winners of the XIV edition of the National Student-Inventor Competition (an event organized by KUT since 2010) have been revealed! The main prize is a presentation and promotion of its inventions during the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva in Switzerland. So far the winners gained 60 medals along with many special prizes.
It appears that the competition is gaining more attention with each passing year. A total of 123 solutions were submitted for this competition by 247 inventors from 21 universities and research centers, demonstrating an impressive level of participation and engagement. The largest number of inventions created by one University is 24 and it was done by the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
The inventions were submitted in a wide range of disciplines, such as machinery and equipment; material, chemical, medical and pharmaceutical engineering, agricultural engineering, and electronics.
Since the beginning of the competition, which is dated 2010, the total number of submitted inventions was 1423 and the number of inventors involved in the process was 2980.

In the 14th edition of the Student-Inventor Competition, the Competition Commission awarded five equal main prizes, a few distinctions and special prizes funded by the President of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, the Production Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Voivode of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, the President of the INWEX Innovation and Implementation Unit, the President of the Polish Association Inventors and Rationalizers and the Rector of the Kielce University of Technology.
