Welcome Day 2024

There is a tradition of our university that at the beginning of the academic year, the Department of International Cooperation organizes Students Welcome Day. The event took place on 7 October 2024 in the Main Hall of Kielce University of Technology.

The international inauguration meeting started with the speech of the Vice-Rector for Students Affairs and Education – prof. Artur Maciąg who kindly greeted new regular students and Erasmus+ exchange students who came to study for the winter semester. The meeting was attended by the authorities of all departments. On behalf of them a welcome word was delivered by dr inż. Agnieszka Cienciała – the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Geomatics and Renewable Energy.

Participants watched the presentation about the city, region, university, and main rules of studying a living in Kielce. All the students got some gifts as a wish of luck for staying in Poland, then they have posed for a group photo with flags and symbols of the country they come from, so the stage in Main Hall came out colorful with emblems of Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, Hungary, Algeria, Jordan, Nigeria, Senegal, Egypt, Green Cape, Morocco, and others.
