Growing position of the Kielce University of Technology (PŚk) in the international academic landscape

The latest “Study in Poland” report Foreign Students in Poland 2025, prepared by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, has just been released, confirming the steadily growing position of the Kielce University of Technology (PŚk) in the international academic landscape.

The number of international students in Poland has been increasing year by year, and our University fits strongly into this trend. In the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, the Kielce University of Technology has surpassed Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) in terms of the number of international students.

The most popular fields of study among foreign students were management, computer science, and medicine. Notably, the Kielce University of Technology ranks third among all public technical universities in Poland in terms of the number of students enrolled in computer science programs, highlighting its strong academic reputation in this field.

The report presents numerical data broken down by students’ countries of origin. Among public universities, Kielce University of Technology is the leader in the number of students from Algeria (60 students), ranking second overall in Poland, with the top position held by a private university. The University also ranks among the top Polish universities in terms of the number of students from Morocco (12th place nationwide, 3rd among public universities) and Egypt (6th place nationwide, 4th among public universities), outperforming renowned universities from Poland’s largest cities.

Currently, students from 24 countries worldwide are enrolled in full-time degree programs at Kielce University of Technology, accounting for 8,83% of the total student population
