Information for international students regarding COVID-19 in Poland [UPDATE 28.11.2020]

NEW RESTRICTIONS FROM 28TH OF NOVEMBER TO 27TH OF DECEMBER:

  • gyms and fitness studios remain closed
  • shopping malls and furniture stores will be reopened – safety measures are still obligatory
  • restaurants, bars and cafes remain closed – it is possible to have take-aways orders or delivery only
  • there can be up to 5 people invited to the house

 

Moreover the current security measures are extened until December 27th

  • in public transport there are half of the seats left vacant or 30% of all space available will be in use
  • pools and aqua parks are out of their services
  • ban on organizing meetings and events
  • cultural institutions will be closed (such as cinemas, theaters, museums, art galleries, community centers, music bonfires)
  • the grocery stores, drugstores, pet stores, home improvement stores, newspaper stores and services will remain open
  • hotels available only to guests on a business trip
  • trade in shops up to 100m – 1 person per 10 square meters, in shops over 100m 1 person per 15 square meters
  • in churches 1 person per 15 square meters
  • meetings in public spaces up to 5 people
