The National Success of Polish Students in Geneva

On 26-30 April 2023 the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions took place. During the official ceremony event, the winners of the XIII Edition of the National Student-Inventor Competition were awarded 5 medals and 3 special rewards.

Honored with gold medals:

Moreover, our team received the Distinguished Innovation Award granted by King Abdaluz University.

Winners of the Competition presented their inventions and took part in the seminary organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the National Centre for Nuclear Research. At the seminary, there were representatives of WIPO present: Habip Asan the Director, Ryszard Frelek and Eva Stefanovska. During this meeting students were acquainted with the main areas of scientific research in the National Centre for Nuclear Research.

The winners present at the inventions exhibition had a chance to meet the Deputy President of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland – Patrycja Czubkowska, the Extraordinary and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations Office at Geneva  – Zbigniew Czech as well as the President of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations – Alireza Rastegar.

The Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions is the biggest and the most prestigious event in Europe. Each year, genius creators from all over the world meet in Switzerland to present their brilliant creations. This is the time when inventors meet the companies, and the exchange of the newest ideas and experiences takes place. It is also a perfect opportunity for all participants to establish new relations and to launch the created inventions.
